How do I write titles customers want to click?
Make it immediately clear what the article answers, and ensure the title matches the content. Include the topic and relevant situation naturally, without using unsupported numbers to promise results.
Turn a vague topic into a specific question
“SEO costs explained” could cover many things. “At NT$50 per keyword per day, what would a month cost?” tells readers exactly what they will learn. The better title depends on the question the page actually answers.
A title may include location, context or conditions, but only if the page addresses them. Do not stack synonyms just to fit in more keywords.
Aim for clarity, not a fixed length
Google may shorten a title to fit the display space or use other page text to create its search title. Put the key point first and keep the page title and main heading consistent.
After making changes, observe impressions and clicks for relevant queries. Interpret any rise in click-through rate alongside ranking and demand changes, rather than treating one improvement as conclusive.
