Are low-volume keywords still worth targeting?
They can be. The question is whether those keywords can bring real customers. Your website’s job is to attract customers, so satisfying their needs and winning business matters more than search volume. Volume is only a reference point.
Look at specific needs, not just numbers
“Office moving” and “weekend moving for small offices in Taichung” cover very different needs. The latter will have far fewer searches. But if customers use that wording, you can earn their attention with less competition. Your offer also feels more focused, which often makes people more willing to choose you.
Chasing broad keywords may bring more traffic without bringing more customers. For a brand, the key is choosing a field you can compete in. Excessive ambition can waste resources.
Bring your website closer to your customers
So which keywords should you pursue? A better question is: how can your content express what you offer more clearly and match your customers’ needs more closely?
